If there is one thing for sure : Montreal knows how to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. In addition to the annual parade that has been going on for centuries – taking place this year on Sainte-Catherine street – the entire city turns green for St. Paddy’s weekend. And here is where you should celebrate Saint-Patrick this weekend in Montreal (before or after the Parade, of course)
As a reminder : the Montreal’s Saint-Patrick’s Parade will take place Sunday (March 17th) at noon. It will start at the corner of Du Fort/Sainte-Catherine with more than 4000 participants, 20 floats and 25 marching bands celebrate with the Irish community.
Three days of Saint-Patrick at Bootlegger Bar
The Authentic Bootlegger Bar located on the Main, is offering a special three-day programming around Saint-Patrick’s Day. From March 15th to 18th, expect : live music, special cocktails, Irish-party ambiance and a whole lot of green. The entrance is free, 18 +.
St. Patrick’s Day at McKibbon’s
McKibbon’s St. Patrick’s Day celebrations are known to be great. At this popular Montreal Irish Pub, expect live music all day, traditional dancers, and even: an Irish brunch if you want to stop by before or after the Parade. And it is all happening March 18th as of 10 am until late.
Shamrock staycation at HOTEL10
The funky boutique hotel located on the corner of Saint-Laurent boulevard and Sherbrooke Street is throwing a “Saint-Paddy Day” promotion all weekend. Those wishing to celebrate and attend the Parade or even join an Irish Pub Crawl can now stay in town for less. The promotion is valid on new reservations only for the nights of March 15/16/17. HOTEL10 lobby bar, BAR20, is also offering special welcome cocktails inspired by… Saint-Patrick! Fun plan.
Irish Brunch (for less) at Pub Burgundy Lion
Let’s not forget that Sunday March 17th also marks the last day of Festival G. and that Pub Burgundy Lion is offering, for the occasion, a traditional Irish brunch at a reduced price. And so, before it’s too late and because it is pretty straightforward: an Irish Pub offering a 22$ brunch menu on Saint-Patrick’s Day, we think it’s a no brainer…
With all these great ideas in mind, we all wish you a very happy Saint-Patrick Day and a wonderful weekend.
