The Quebec government stated that we will all be able to receive five COVID rapid tests per person every 30 days starting today Monday December 20, 2021. They said there is 10 million ready for all Quebecers.
As of now there is only 4 million being distributed all over Quebec’s 1900 plus pharmacies, so if you happened to grab a kit your are the chosen one.
Pharmacies Jean-Coutu and Brunet decided to distribute the tests by appointment only and both their websites crashed due to people trying to log on all at once.
Other pharmacies are giving out the COVID rapid test on a first come first serve basis, causing huge lines around the block before they open.
