MONTREAL December 12, 2025 — February may mean the dead of winter to many, but in Montreal, it means two weeks when the city heats up and comes alive, thanks to the Montreal en Lumiere Festival.

At a press conference that was held earlier this week at the McCord Stewart Museum, organizers announced the programming for its 27th edition, which will happen from February 27 to March 7, 2026. The festival will showcase Montreal at its best through its three signature components: gastronomy, shows, and winter activities.

On the foodie front, with the gourmet programming commencing on February 20, Montreal en Lumiere will echo the recently-opened McCord Stewart Museum exhibition “On the Menu” and commemorate 65 years of Montreal’s culinary heritage with Air France Finest Tables, in which over 80 of the city’s finest restaurants and 90 of the world’s best gastronomic artists will serve up 49 international and 30 Canadian pairings that will please the palates of foodies everywhere.

When it comes to shows, Montreal en Lumiere will offer a line-up filled with performances by trending artists, from around the world, such as Robert Robert, The Barr Brothers, Samm Henshaw, Sloan, and making their Montreal debuts, Loud and Lou-Adriane Cassidy.

For winter activities, the festival will once again take over the Place des Festivals with the Place Loto-Québec. Returning popular features include the Loto Quebec Skating Loop, the chalet de patin Tim Hortons, the Rogers DJ Booth, the Intuit TurboTax Ferris Wheel, and the Village Gourmand.

And of course, the festival would not be complete without Montreal’s favorite all-night party, the Nuit Blanche, which is scheduled for February 28. The full programming line-up will be unveiled that month.
