Mont Sutton is Having an Incredible 65th Anniversary Ski Season

Mont Sutton 2026

SUTTON, January 20, 2026 – With Mont SUTTON having already received 271 cm of snow at its base (approx. 346 cm at the summit) since the start of the 2025-2026 ski season and nearly 100% of the ski area open, the holiday season was particularly enjoyable, heralding a promising new year with even more activities and events on the agenda.

Holiday 2025 Review

Specifically, between December 20 and January 3, 63 cm of new snow fell at the base of the mountain and 84 cm at the summit, beautifying the mountain. Snow sports enthusiasts happily enjoyed the powder during the holiday season, resulting in magical moments on the slopes.

While the 2024 holidays saw good results, the 2025 holidays were even more prolific, with a 24% increase in traffic, including visits by season pass holders. Day tickets alone saw a 41% increase, thanks to Mother Nature.

This was a wonderful gift for the mountain’s 65th anniversary, which also saw an increase in the use of various services, including a 12% increase in reservations for its All-inclusive packages and a 70% increase in alpine touring equipment rentals. There was also a noticeable increase in customer attendance at restaurants (including the summit chalet, with its ever-popular fireplace) and at Bar Le Tucker’s après-ski, with its exclusive, homemade, and delicious food offering.

Ski demos, musical après-ski, Christmas stockings rally, ¢75 chicken wings, the Sutton Ski Club torchlights descent, New Year’s cocktail party… these are just some of the activities that delighted young and old alike during the holiday season.

Don’t miss out on anything in 2026!

Just like in the holiday season, a wide range of activities will be held at the mountain in 2026. While après-ski events will continue on Thursdays (Open Mic and discounted chicken wings), Fridays (live bands), and Saturdays (DJs), the popular Tuesdays Tacos & Touring will be back starting January 13, while other ski demos will be held soon, as well as several special events on the slopes, such as Valentine’s Day, Sutton en Cœur in collaboration with the En Cœur Foundation, during spring break (United States, Quebec, and Ontario), Easter, not to mention the famous Snow on the Beach on Saturday, April 4, and the traditional Réal’s Challenge, whose date is always announced at the last minute!

Also, since twice as many young people registered for Christmas camps in 2025, don’t wait to register kids for the various Ski Week camps available so they will have their spot saved! In 2026, the Snow School will, of course, continue to offer its popular All-inclusive packages and Private lessons booklet (which also saw twice as much interest during the last holiday season), which are essential for learning and getting back into the swing of things!

Finally, while lodging partners have also recently seen an increase in multi-day ski packages, it’s a safe bet to say Ski-and-Stay offers will need to be booked quickly to enjoy the slopes at the best price, as these getaways include the accommodation and breakfast on weekdays!

An imageful season

For a glimpse of the current season, the scenery, and the conditions, a daily updated Flickr Gallery will convince all snow sports lovers to visit Mont SUTTON this winter.

Until the very end of the season, customers are also invited to share their favorite moments captured at the mountain on their social media accounts by adding #PurementSUTTON and tagging Mont SUTTON as part of a weekly contest. Every Thursday, an album of these moments is posted on Facebook and a winning photo is chosen to win two daily tickets valid for one day at choice during the season!

And, since it’s still resolution time, why not promise to self more time outdoors to fully enjoy the activities and promotions at the mountain: the daily newsletter will ensure everyone to not miss a thing, while also providing daily snow conditions!

As for New Year wishes, Mont SUTTON already has the wind in its sails for 2026, or rather its skis in the powder, and wants to continue offering memorable and incredible outings on the slopes to anyone, aiming to be a partner of quality time with family and friends, to take the time to savor every moment.

Where is Mont Sutton?

Mont Sutton is easy to get to, located at 672 Rue Maple in Quebec’s Eastern Townships region, just 1.25 hours southeast of Montreal.
