‘Butters’ the wild turkey killed

Over the past few months residents in NDG and Montreal West had come to adopt a wild turkey and named him Butters.

Last night around 5 P.M. Butters was struck by a car on Côte-St-Luc Rd and Westminster Avenue and was killed.

The Montreal Police were on the scene daily trying to persuade Butters to get off the busy intersection. The driver who struck Butters was very emotional and was fan of the wild bird.
