Facebook Instagram and WhatsApp shut down

Social media users all over the world have been reporting unable to log onto any of their social media accounts today. at around noon eastern time. Over 30,000 complaints were registered on Downdetector.ca which compiles complaints about outages over the internet.

Facebook did acknowledge the outage in a tweet, one of the social giant companies that Facebook does not own. Facebook stated they are working on the problem and are trying to get things back to normal as soon as possible on all three of their platforms, Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp.

Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp shut down globally

Countries that are experiencing the network failure so far are Canada, Unites States, Europe, Africa and Asia.
