A portion of the proceeds to go to the Lakeshore General Hospital Foundation
A great opportunity to support the Lakeshore General Hospital Foundation
The Grand FoodFest foundation will donate a portion of the proceeds from the event to the Lakeshore General Hospital Foundation. Our mission is to give back to the Quebec community by organizing fun, friendly events all over Quebec, explained Maude Couillard, Director of the Grand FoodFest. It’s important for the Grand FoodFest to give back to the cities that host the events. We’re delighted that the Lakeshore General Hospital Foundation is one of the recipients this year, and we applaud its commitment to upgrading its facilities and improving the quality of care given to its patients, she added. Proceeds from the sale of beer, reusable cups and forks will be donated to the organization.
About the Grand FoodFest
Since 2014, the Grand FoodFest has been organizing family-friendly food events throughout Quebec to raise funds for local causes. Over the past five years, more than 10 organizations have benefited from the profits made selling beer, reusable cups and forks. There are three types of festivals that take place between May and September: Le Grand PoutineFest (poutine festival), Le Grand MacFest (mac and cheese festival) and Le Grand RibFest (rib festival).
