This summer the Societe de lâ€™assurance automobile du Quebec (SAAQ) â€“ the provider of Quebecâ€™s public auto insurance plan and issuer of license plates in the province announced that plates could be personalized in the belle Province. The personal plates cost $250 upfront and $34.50 extra fee every year to maintain the personal plate.

After numerous delays and a website crash on launch day, Quebecers are finally getting personalized plates and are been seen around town.
