It’s summer in Montreal, which means time for fun fundraising activities in the sun! Join us at Molson Percival Stadium on Saturday July 6 for the very first GOAL Wellness Festival and on Saturday July 7 for GOAL MTL, Canada’s most notable footy festival. Created by Goal Initiatives Foundation, both events are fundraisers for underfunded and underprivileged youth sports and wellness programs. There’s something for everyone: delicious food, healthy drinks and cocktails, discussion panels, the Women’s World Cup Final on big screen, music by The Undergrand and much more!

Star athletes like goalkeeper Evan Bush and other Montreal pro soccer players, John Bowman of the Montreal Alouettes and more will be onsite to cheer on the competing teams at #GOALMTL.

Food & drinks on-site: Bowhead Pub – 100% plant-based sausages, Velish – Smoothies, Energy Balls, All other deliciousness from Marinelli Brothers, Cafe Olimpico, water station, nutritional shakes by LYNQ. Cocktails and beer on Sunday, July 7 provided by: Labatt, Carlsberg, El Jimador, Jack Daniels, Grolsch, Glutenberg, Molson.

GOAL Wellness  – Saturday July 6th – 10am to 6pm

GOAL Wellness Montreal’s First Wellness Festival & Footy Tournament benefiting the GOAL Initiatives Foundation. GOAL Wellness is the first of its kind in Canada; a site where sports, culture & lifestyle bring like-minded individuals together in a healthy party atmosphere with ZERO alcohol on site. GOAL Wellness will provide a platform for conversations about health, wellness, addictions, mental health and the rising popularity of the sober-curious movement, as recently covered by the New York Times.

11:00am –  Women’s World Cup Semi-Final on the big screen.

12:00pm – Soccer Tournament: Registration open to the public 18+Teams can join for $550 (charity receipt provided) and individuals are welcome to join the community team: $55 per person includes 1 jersey and 2 beverage tickets.

1:30pm – Speaker Series: Conversation on wellness moderated by Ryan Aronson with speakers: Shaun Proulx – Sirius XM talk show host; Lee Haberkorn from Virgin Radio; Sterling Downey – Deputy Mayor of Montreal and founder of Under Pressure Graffiti Festival.

Food & drinks on-site:All beverages on-site will be non-alcoholic. Drinks include coffee, juice, energy drinks and 0.0 beers. 

Beneficiaries of GOAL Wellness are:  Dans la rue which helps homeless and at risk youth.

GOAL MTL –  Sunday July 7th – 10am – 6pm

GOAL MTL is a footy culture festival showcasing the synergy between football and the art world, music, culture and our communities. GOAL assembles merchants, employees, residents, children, families, volunteers, stars and athletes with the goal to unite at one common juncture – to raise funds for underfunded and underprivileged organizations.

11:00am – Women’s World Cup final on the big screen.

12:00pm – Soccer Tournament begins

1:30pm – Speaker Series: Conversation on Women in Sports Moderated by the Female Department with speakers: Emilie Fillion, retired professional soccer player; Lynda Guy, Co-Founder & Creative Director of LITZI Jewellery; 2 Ex National CSA players.

GOAL Initiatives is a community of disruptors making a difference through cultural development, wellness, and youth sports programming. The purpose of GOAL Initiatives Foundation is to EMPOWER COMMUNITIES and all people within it TO TAKE CHARGE OF THEIR WELLNESS by creating remarkable events & experiences done by a collective of visionary partners to GIVE BACK TO THE COMMUNITY. At the GOAL Initiatives Foundation we PROMOTE WELLNESS BY DOING and above all else, we THINK GLOBALLY & ACT LOCALLY. To date, over $370,000 has been raised.

Beneficiaries are Montreal Community Cares Foundation, which supports the development of youth across the city and Share the Warmth Foundation, which fights hunger and poverty.
